Heatherhill is an open, undulating nature reserve with broad heather-covered hills rolling right down to the Kattegat Sea near Rågeleje. The larger part of Heatherhill is swathed in heathland flora and heathers. The terrain with its pronounced hills and valleys is a product of the last Ice Age.
