Bakken organizes the World Santa Claus Congress in co-operation with Santa Claus of Greenland, which is the only organization, who authorizes Santa Clauses. Today there are more than 120 participating Santas. And they are all real Santas. Lots of the Santas are organized in Santa associations or work as authorized Santas. The Santas are coming from all over the world for example El Salvador, Greenland, Germany, Ireland, Norway, Italy, Japan, Holland and Venezuela and meet for a serious congress at Bakken, but Santas are always in such a good mood, so there will be a lot of fun during the congress. Apart from participating in parades, the Santas are going to the beach for their annual beach paddle. The World Santa Claus Congress will name the Santa of the Year and discuss Santas homeland, presents, reindeer and other work conditions. And of course they have to fix the date for Christmas Eve.
