The Science Centre for curious minds in Christianshavn is Copenhagen's 3,000 m2 attraction where children and adults will be able to see, touch and experience science in all its forms.
At Experimentarium City you can expect to learn about the wonderful world that surrounds you through play and exciting experiences. Can you ride a reverse steering bike, can you control your brainwaves, and can you guess the smell?
You can also test your reaction time, how much energy you spend on the rowing machine, whether you can roar louder than a lion and much more. Experimentarium City has enough activities for hours of exploration.
Fun in the sun
Outdoor activities are also part of the experience at Experimentarium City. There will then be a range of activities suited to each season. You can also simply enjoy the view from the waterfront with a bite to eat from our neighbours, Copenhagen Street Food.
On September 15, 2016 the Experimentarium is scheduled to reopen in a large and spectacular new building filled with phenomenal natural science experiences.
Experimentarium City on Papirøen will therefore close May 15, 2016 so the move to the new premises in Hellerup can be started.
