The old Flatboat at sea in Tversted
Come and join us when the flatboat is launched.
Hear the story of the flatboat - with you as an oarsman/oarswoman. It is said, that only 20 centimetres of water is needed beneath the keel for the flatboat to float. Furthermore, the flatboat was also used for salvaging goods from wrecks. According to some stories, the flatboat was quickly out to salvage for personal gain only in case of wrecks. The flatboat is launched, if the wether permits. Coffee can be purchased.
