Monument for Danes killed during 1914-18- inaugurated in The Marselisborg Memorial Park in 1934, by artist Axel Poulsen and architect Axel Ekberg.
More than 4000 names in alphabetic order of the Danes who were killed as conscripted soldiers in the German army during World War I. Denmark had lost Southern Jutland to Germany in the war of 1864, and therefore the Danes in this part of the country were regarded as German citizens and thus conscripted.
