Ølsemagle Revle - Sand Bar - Køge

Ølsemagle Revle is a pretty, scenic area north from Køge

The sand bar is a conservation area with a rich birdlife. In spring and autumn, sheep are put out on the bar for nature preservation purposes. An icecream stand and toilets including a disabled toilet are located on the road down to the beach.

Dogs and horses on the beach

Dogs are not permitted on the beach during the bird breeding season from April to September. And dogs must be kept on a leash for the rest of the year.

Horse riding is not permitted.

Beach numbers
At Ølsemagle Revle 3 beach numbers have been put up on the very beach. One at the end of the entrance path J820, one to the north J823 and the last to the south J826.

If in need of a rescue vehicle for the beach, be sure to mention the beach number closest to your position, which will enable the control centre to locate you.
