A brand new CPH Apartment lounge opening this week at Copenhagen Airport offers state-of-the-art and exclusive lounge facilities unlike anything else available at other airports. The new lounge, established in a partnership with handling company Novia, is inspired by classical Copenhagen luxury apartments with stucco ceilings, herringbone parquet and quality Scandinavian furniture.

The inspiration for CPH Apartment comes from a classic, stately Copenhagen apartment and consists of an entrance hall, an open-plan kitchen, a living room, a library and a study. Stucco ceilings, herringbone parquet flooring and a lit fireplace combine to underline the homely atmosphere.

From Muuto to Wegner
The furniture at CPH Apartment is primarily Scandinavian, including bookshelves from Muuto, dining chairs from Hay, a Beck lounge table, the award-winning “In Duplo” sofa from Erik Jørgensen and the famous Wing Chair designed by H. J. Wegner. The furniture and fittings are a mix of modern and classic quality products that meet all the requirements for comfort, functionality and wearability of a lounge.

The new lounge in Terminal 2 will be available to business and first-class passengers from a number of airlines, including Emirates, Gulf Air and Qatar Airlines, which are all handled by Novia. In addition, passengers can buy access to the CPH Apartment via www.cph.dk/lounge or at the counter irrespective of which airline they are flying and their type of ticket.

The new facilities cater to the requirements of these airlines and also give other passengers the opportunity to visit the new, exclusive lounge. Concurrently with the opening of CPH Apartment, Novia reopens its refurbished Novia Lounge in the same complex in Terminal 2.
