The FRESH Conference 2012, staged by
The Meeting Support Institute and supported by VisitDenmark and
Wonderful Copenhagen.
FRESH is a two-day conference that refreshes conferences, meetings and events and increases their effectiveness. By introducing and demonstrating the latest tools and knowledge, the aim is to provide meeting planners, meeting designers and meeting owners with applicable improvement. All presentations, room layouts, the venue, the staging, the processes, the food... everything is new or innovative or at least interesting enough to investigate!

A Sustainable EU Presidency in Denmark
Dates: 17-20. April 2012
No. of participants: 5-10.
This trip focuses on staging sustainable meetings and the actions taken via the “
Danish Sustainable Events Initiative” to achieve an ISO-20121-certification of the logistics of
EU Presidency 2012 with meetings held in
Horsens and
Copenhagen.
We will also look into how the destination succeeds in attracting “green” events such as the European Wind Energy Association’s annual conference on 17-19th April in Copenhagen. Expect therefore, visits to Copenhagen and the cities of Horsens and
Aarhus in the Central Region of Jutland, and to experience a wide range of examples of how the Danish Meetings Industry is actively involved in and pursues sustainable solutions on a daily basis.

MIND – Meeting & Incentive Networking in Denmark - Event 2012
Date: 15-16. November 2012
No. of participants: 5-10.
For the 3rd consecutive time, VisitDenmark and Wonderful Copenhagen invite Int. Meeting Planners to a forward thinking and far-sighted networking event in
Copenhagen:
MIND 2012.
Focus is on obtaining more effective results and higher return on investment on business events, whilst simultaneously creating highly innovative and inspiring meetings. The
MINDblowing event is based on the Danish
Meetovation concept and has been a smash-hit with participants the previous two years!
Media are invited to come along and report from MIND 2012, do interviews with professional meeting planners and local partners on the spot and, of course, to get a taste of the MINDblowing meeting destination Copenhagen/Denmark whilst in town...
