Lost and found

If you forget or lose an item of luggage or other personal effects on your journey, or during your holiday in Denmark, you can contact the following:

In the arrivals hall of the airport, contact the luggage/service counter of your airline to report the item lost or missing. You need to ensure that you have documentation to show that you have reported the item(s) lost or missing, in the event that you later have to make an insurance claim.

At Copenhagen Airport any item left or lost anywhere at the airport, are held by the airport police (Station 6, tel. +45 – 32 45 14 48, open 24 hours) until the following morning. If unclaimed, it is then transferred to the ‘Lost and Found’ (Hittegods) section at the Copenhagen Police Authority. Here it is registered in a ‘Lost and Found’ database, which can be viewed on the Copenhagen Airport website, www.cph.dk/facilities/lost and found. Check this site for further information.
If your journey ends in Copenhagen you should contact the DSB Lost and Found office (Hittegods), tel.: +0045 33 54 56 81 or in person, Monday to Friday 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., at Reventlowsgade 9, Copenhagen V.
