Harbour in Doverodde

Doverodde Harbor is a small free harbor with about 100 berths beautifully situated in the scenic and culturally interesting area down to the Limfjord.

When you arrive by boat to Doverodde, you see the 7-8,000 year old Stone Age coastal slopes. Here, the country's largest group of burial mounds are situated. Doverodde has for a couple of hundred years been the center of grain and cattle trade with England with a merchant farm from 1848.

Around the grocery store you will find an experience center - a completely unique attraction in the area. From the silo there is a fantastic view of the harbor. The Port of Doverodde has been awarded the Blue Flag since 1991 as a special mark of quality for the environment and facilities. Havnens Bådelaug provides a sailing room with kitchen facilities. There are also public bathing and toilet facilities.

There is wireless internet in the port area. The environmental station is open to local and guest sailors, including an emptying scheme with a sludge extractor for wastewater. The harbor master can be reached on telephone (+45) 2088 1737.

From Doverodde Købmandsgård there are several daily bus connections to Hurup, whose pedestrian street has a selection of grocery and specialty shops.
