Guided tour and open house at Dit museum Ølgod on 3 Christmas Day

Bring the family, enjoy a cultural experience during the festive season and learn about your city. It's your last chance to see a museum the way it was done in the 1970s.

Bring the family, enjoy a cultural experience during the festive season and learn something about your city - Last chance to see a museum as it was in the 1970s.

Something is about to happen in Ølgod kulturhus and therefore we will have to tear down the old exhibition before a new one can be built. In this connection, Vardemuseerne would like to invite you to a special guided tour, where you can explore the labyrinth of local history that Dit Museum Ølgod houses one last time with the museum's educator. Have you heard about the pirate from Strellev or the dead dairy assistant?

The exhibition in Ølgod is almost a museum exhibition in itself. It was created in 1971 and was so innovative at the time that many of the communication ideas still hold true today. During the tour, we look at the history of Ølgod, the development from a poor moorland community to a lively railway station town and the thoughts that went into the development of the exhibition.

The tour and visit to the museum are free of charge and prior registration is not required, but please contact Troels Riknagel, the cultural organiser, if you have any questions. TR@NaturKulturVarde.dk
