This beach area is one of Læsø's absolute gems and the place on the island with the largest species richness of plants (including cucumber herb, sundew and yellow iris).
You will find beach ramparts that extend all the way to Horneks Odde, and inland the beautiful old coastline from the Stone Age Sea travels markedly over the low lying land towards the water.
From the stone age gorge you have an excellent view of the coast. You can see the revel - also called the Flag, which is like a tap out in the Kattegat and looks like it almost forms a bridge to Nordre Rønner out in the blue
