Rødeled Ceramics

For more than 100 years, the three generations: Hans Peter, Julius and Hans Jørgen Knudsen ran their workshop with the production of good Danish pottery crafts. Such as tulip pots, maternity pot, potato bowl and egg dish. At the death of potter H.J. Knudsen in 1990, the pottery transferred to the Rødeled foundation.

The pottery in Præstø is Denmark's oldest functioning pottery. Klaus Kristensen who took over the pottery in 2019 traditionally makes pottery as the previous three generations of Knudsen made it and new modern stoneware of his own design.

Come visit the historic workshop and purchase the pottery in the shop.
