Saksild Beach is known as one of Denmark’s best and most child-friendly beaches andwith good reason. Here you find clean bathing water and soft white sand. The tranquil surroundings are complemented by good toiletry facilities, a lifeguard tower, lovely ice-cream kiosks, restaurants and a short distance to a campsite and cottages.

Bring the whole family and enjoy the fantastic child-friendly sandy beach, where both sand and water are soft and delicious. Parking is only 200 meters from the beach and an established path for strollers and wheelchairs ensures that everyone can come.
The beach is a Blue Flag beach, which guarantees quality toilets, changing rooms and clean bathing water. In addition, trained lifeguards are available throughout the summer to assist with everything from bee stings and heat strokes to water rescues. Look for the red- and white striped lifeguard tower.
The shallow water and the fine sand is perfect for even small children, that can bath without being toppled by the big waves. Remember shovel and bucket for building sand castles - on the wide beach there is enough room for the kids to tumble. Or have fun with the swing, overlooking the beautiful sea.
The ice-cream kiosk Trekanten has delicious ice-cream. Here you can also buy snacks, if you feel hungry.
Strandshoppen leases paddle boards and kayaks.
And before heading back home you should stop by Denmark’s oldest mini golf course, which is very close to the beach.
