Copenhagen Light Festival

Once again, Copenhagen Light Festival lights up the city in February’s darkness

In February, Copenhagen is, for the seventh year in a row, filled with beautiful light installations as the Copenhagen Light Festival takes over the city.

From the second of February until the 25th of February, the harbour and city space are lit up by beautiful light installations offering extraordinary light experiences from Nordhavn to Ørestad.

Light will be on dark drifting clouds, beautiful old buildings, architectural squares, the city’s canals, and other city spaces.

You can experience the many light installations by yourself or join one of the festival’s guided tours by Segway, canal boat, kayak, or take a regular guided walk.

You can read more about the programme and the 35 installations of the Copenhagen Light Festival here and arrange your own walk(s) around the city to explore the beautiful lights.
