Constitution Day Church Service in the Auction Hall

When the old church bell — the same one that calls fish buyers to auction every morning — rings out for the evening service, something quietly magical happens. Fish crates serve as pews, beach grass in rubber boots stands in for altar flowers, and the smell of the sea hangs in the air as a reminder of everything this community is built on. It's a place where democracy, faith and coastal life come together in the most natural way.
Who will take the stage this year? The artist will be announced in the weeks leading up to the event — so keep an eye out!
The event is free and open to everyone. Bring a cushion if you have one (the fish crates are full of character, but not exactly padded), and dress for a cool harbour evening.
