Drive in Daffen - The Cold War Museum Langelandsfort

On selected days during the summer holidays it is possible to visit the fort from the back of a truck with a tour in DAFFEN, our military patrol car.

Summer driving tour in Daffen

A tour costs DKK 20 per person and can be purchased together with the entrance ticket on arrival at the Fort.

Langelandsfortet is located on the southernmost tip of Langeland where it was built in the early 1950s. During the Cold War (1953-1989), Langeland Fort was responsible for surveillance and military command in the Baltic Sea area. The fort was closed in 1993 and is now a department of Langelands Museum and houses a number of permanent exhibitions and changing special exhibitions.

Timetable 2024

DAFFEN runs 14., 16. og 18. October. As DAFFEN is an older Dutch vehicle, we reserve the right to make changes to the schedule - follow us on Facebook to see any changes.
