Summer Concert with Coro Misto - Løkken Kirke

Coro Misto was founded in November 1991 by conductor Søren Birch together with a dedicated group of singers, and celebrates its 35th anniversary this year.

From the outset, the aim was to establish a high-level chamber choir that could help strengthen and promote the region’s vocal music scene through performances of classical a cappella repertoire.

Today, the choir’s repertoire includes both sacred and secular works, ranging from early compositions to contemporary pieces. Coro Misto regularly performs with orchestras, both in its own productions and in collaboration with ensembles such as Ensemble Zimmermann and Aalborg Symfoniorkester.

Coro Misto is widely regarded as one of Denmark’s leading chamber choirs.

The concert at Løkken Kirke will feature a beautiful summer-themed programme of choral music.
