Halkær Festival 2026

From 5 to 7 June, Halkær Ådal will once again be transformed into a vibrant festival venue featuring music, nature experiences and a sense of community. The programme is now finalised, and with acts such as the Mike Andersen Band, West of Eden, Fromseier Hockings and The Mukherjee Development, the stage is set for some fantastic musical experiences.

New this year is that democracy has also been given a place on the programme. The opening day will therefore be marked by a free Constitution Day event.

“We always keep the inn open to everyone during the festival, but this year we have chosen to expand access. The festival kicks off by inviting everyone to a free Constitution Day event featuring a speech, music and a barbecue,” says Birgitte Lesanner, the new general manager at Halkær Kro Mad & Kulturhus.

Bengt Holst, chairman of the Danish Nature Fund, will deliver the Constitution Day speech at 2.00 pm. Juncker will then take to the stage for a free concert. The rest of the festival offers experiences for young and old alike, with a fantastic music programme, nature walks, yoga, morning singing, dancing and plenty of good food and drink from local producers.
