You are invited to an engaging and informative guided tour at Knud Rasmussen’s House, an atmospheric museum dedicated to Denmark’s most famous polar explorer.
Knud Rasmussen’s House offers a unique opportunity to experience the authentic atmosphere that characterises the home, preserved much as it appeared 100 years ago.
The tour begins with a detailed account of Knud Rasmussen’s life and his many achievements as a polar explorer. Visitors will hear about his expeditions, his exploration of the Arctic, and his significance to both Danish and international polar history. This is followed by a guided tour of the historic house, where the museum’s knowledgeable guide presents the rich history of the building and the many artefacts and objects on display.
Practical information
The number of places on the tour is limited, and early booking is recommended. Tickets can only be purchased online. The ticket includes both admission to the museum and the guided tour.
