Artist: Anne Grimdalen (1899 - 1961)

The sculpture was created for a grave site for the married couple Henrik Asmus Emil Hendriksen and Adolfine Augusta Emilia Hendriksen. It was commissioned by their son the painter Ulrik Hendriksen (1891 - 1960), born in Faaborg but living and working in Norway most of his life. The artist Anne Grimdalen is known for her many animal sculptures.
