Summer evenings with wine and fine dining

From late June to early August, Cold Hand Winery invites you to its summer restaurant in the winery’s scenic surroundings near Randers. The focus here is on quality ingredients, a Danish summer atmosphere and wine experiences, where the winery’s award-winning wines made from Danish fruits and berries form a natural part of the meal.

On Thursdays and Fridays, the winery itself prepares the summer dinner, whilst Saturdays feature special gourmet evenings created in collaboration with selected restaurants and chefs from across the country.

Savour the summer in unique surroundings

The summer restaurant combines fine dining with the winery’s tranquil surroundings. The dinners are based on seasonal Danish produce, accompanied by carefully selected wines or a non-alcoholic juice menu from the winery. Depending on the day’s programme, the evening may include snacks, multiple courses or a buffet, as well as dessert and coffee.

Guest chefs create new taste experiences

Every Saturday, Cold Hand Winery welcomes various restaurants and chefs, who put their own personal stamp on the menu. The programme for 2026 includes gastronomic experiences with Norevent, Restaurant Treetop, Restaurant Værdsat, Restaurant Domestic, Soul Food & Live Music and Von Benzon | møllefisk. All menus are designed to pair perfectly with the winery’s own wines.

Practical information

  • The summer restaurant will be open from 27 June to 1 August 2026.
  • The winery’s own summer dinners will be held on Thursdays and Fridays in weeks 27–31.
  • Guest chefs will serve gourmet dinners on Saturdays in weeks 26–31.
  • A wine menu or a non-alcoholic juice menu is available.
  • Food allergies can be catered for and vegetarian alternatives are available by prior arrangement.
  • Accommodation is available at the winery.
