Winter Break at the Iron Age Village

Both the Iron Age people and the Vikings gathered around the warm fire in winter, working on crafts and telling myths and stories. The matriarch would conjure up the last of the leftovers from the storeroom into warm dishes to keep everyone full in the winter cold.

Step back into the Iron Age this winter holiday. In the village, you can take part in fun hands-on activities and an exciting challenge where you’ll learn runes and discover what everyday life was like back then. On selected days, you’ll even meet Iron Age characters demonstrating traditional crafts from the past.
