NorthSide is an annual music festival for young music lovers. For a long time, Aarhus lacked an event that could attract international artists and thus offer the many young people of Aarhus an alternative to other festivals in Denmark.
At the NorthSide festival in 2026, you can experience names such as Aphaca, Empire of The Sun, Idles, Jack White, Skepta, Thomas Helmig, Tobias Rahim - and many, many more.
More than a music festival

The festival leads the way, and strives to be leading on sustainability by continuously launching groundbreaking initiatives, such as being the first major festival in the world to use 100% green electricity.
Practical information
- NorthSide takes place at the festival site in Eskelunden, which is just a stone's throw from the Aarhus River and right in the backyard of the City of Smiles, Aarhus.

- There are good parking facilities for bikes, but it is not possible to park your car at Eskelunden.
- Disabled parking is available
