Camping between the Baltic Sea and the quarry lake near Nexø

Stay right by the Baltic Sea at Nexø Camping & Feriehytter on the outskirts of Nexø. The small campsite has the sea on one side and the old quarry lake on the other. Here you can set up camp with a tent, caravan or motorhome – or choose one of the site's small holiday cabins.

The campsite is in peaceful surroundings, with sea swimming and experiences around Nexø close by. From the site, you can follow the coast toward Sjølla and Nysjølla, where Nexø locals swim from the rocks, or head to Balka Beach, around four kilometers away.

From tent pitches to holiday cabins

Nexø Camping has pitches for tents, caravans and motorhomes, and some of the pitches are right by the sea.

If you prefer to stay in a cabin, you can choose between small, simple holiday cabins with or without their own toilet. The cabins measure 10–12 m² and accommodate up to four people, while some of the larger cabins have a sleeping loft with extra beds.

During peak season, you can order freshly baked breakfast bread and enjoy breakfast at the campsite, in the café or on the large sun terrace.

Sea swimming and fishing close by

With the Baltic Sea right outside the campsite, you do not have far to go for your first dip of the day. Around 200 meters north of the site are Sjølla and Nysjølla, well-known local swimming spots.

On the other side of the campsite is the quarry lake, where you can fish in the put-and-take lake with a fishing permit or simply enjoy the view over the water.

Nexø Camping is also a base for exploring eastern and southern Bornholm, with Nexø's harbor, shops and places to eat within easy reach.
