Every year around Great Prayer Day, Ærø Flyveplads is transformed into a lively gathering place filled with colourful kites, exciting flying experiences and community spirit for the whole family. Over three festive days, visitors can enjoy sightseeing flights, music, local culinary experiences and activities for both children and adults.

Highlights of this year's programme

Friday is marked by kite flying, where children and adults can fly colourful kites. There will be free kites for the first children, and the atmosphere will be complemented by ice cream, a tombola and cosy get-togethers.

Saturday and Sunday offer sightseeing flights with Starling Air at special prices, model aircraft displays, vintage aircraft and live music in the hangar. There are also plenty of children's activities such as a bouncy castle and other fun surprises.

Whatever your age, you can look forward to an eventful weekend with aircraft, kites and a great atmosphere.
