Experience the beautiful Skive River Valley on a pleasant walk along the Skive River. The water quality in the Skive River is good, and the river is known for its population of large sea trout and excellent sea trout fishing. As a small curiosity, seals are occasionally seen in the river.
The Skive River Valley is an important recreational area for the town of Skive, offering many opportunities to experience nature. With support from outdoor recreation funds, the municipality has improved access to the Skive River and the valley with a network of paths that allow visitors to walk and cycle through the wide river valley.
There are approximately 11 km of paths in the area around the Skive River. The Municipality of Skive maintains the paths with gravel so they can be used all year round (except during very high water levels).
