Adventure hunt for the whole family

At Clausholm Castle, you can explore the castle grounds with the ‘Anna Sophie & the Castle’ adventure hunt. Here, you’ll meet the young Countess Anna Sophie, her friends and the park’s strange creatures, whilst solving codes and finding clues along the way.

The adventure hunt takes place in the beautiful Baroque park surrounding the castle and is designed as an experience for children and adults who want to combine play, storytelling and history in green surroundings.

Explore the castle grounds

Along the way, you’ll make your way through the nooks and crannies, paths and hidden spots of the castle park. Here, stories, clues and little challenges await, bringing you closer to Anna Sophie’s world.

Among other things, you can meet the thousand-year-old spirit in the tree, keep an eye out for the mischievous Varps and see if you can find your way through the grand maze.

Collect points and become Anna Sophie’s friend

The adventure hunt is all about solving puzzles and mysteries. For every solution, you collect points, and the aim is to become one of Anna Sophie’s very best friends.

Once the hunt is complete, a special reward awaits, which you can take home as a souvenir of your visit to Clausholm Castle.

Meet Anna Sophie and Klavs

Anna Sophie is a curious countess from Clausholm Castle in the 18th century. She loves exploring the castle’s secret nooks and crannies and the large garden, and she enjoys going on adventures.

On the hunt, you’ll also meet Klavs, a quick-witted stable boy and Anna Sophie’s good friend. He knows the park’s hidden paths and secret spots and helps to carry the story forward through the park.

Practical information

The adventure hunt is included with the purchase of an admission ticket to Clausholm Castle.
Anna Sophie & the Castle is available on Clausholm’s opening days.
Parking is available at Dyrehavevej 1. Follow the signs.
It is approximately a 10-minute walk from the entrance to the castle.
Dogs are welcome on a lead, but not in indoor areas.
Clausholm Castle and Park are not suitable for wheelchair users or those with walking difficulties.
Admission tickets can be purchased at the ticket office or online.
