Shelters and Campsite on Southern Bjørnø

Bjørnø Campsite is peacefully located on the island’s southern side, around 400 metres from Kongsgården. This is your chance to enjoy genuine outdoor living and scenic accommodation in the South Funen Archipelago, whether you prefer a tent or a shelter close to the sea and coastal meadows.

Facilities

The campsite offers access to drinking water, a composting toilet, an outdoor shower, and a covered dining area with a fridge and electric kettle. You’ll also find picnic tables and a campfire spot, with firewood available for purchase.

Accommodation

You can either pitch your tent or stay in one of the three shelters, each with a view of the sea and surrounding nature.

An island gem in the South Funen Archipelago

Bjørnø is a small car-free island where tranquillity and nature set the pace. It’s all about presence, nature, and that special Danish concept of “hygge.” Faaborg is more than just beautiful – and nowhere is that clearer than here, where the South Funen Archipelago reveals its most authentic self.
