At BreadByKaerup the focus is great ingredients and seasonal sourdough nerdery.

BreadByKaerup is a micro-bakery in Western Aalborg, which in record time became a favorite with the locals as well as the visitors, who stop by for some of the best croissants in Aalborg. BreadByKaerup focuses on quality before quantity, so you must stop by early before they sell out for the day.

The bakery is owned by William Kærup who has experience as a chef from Alimentum, among others. When he and his girlfriend started thing about starting a family, he chose to exchange the 16-hour workday with the bakery. He was also a part of the startup of Surdejsbageren in January 2020, when the interest in sourdough grew and he started offering sourdough lessons.

In the early spring of 2021, William chose to open his bakery, BreadByKaerup. William is driven by a passion for great craftsmanship and quality over quantity. BreadByKaerup is a micro bakery with a small but carefully chosen selection of sourdough bread, the best croissants in Aalborg, and irresistible sweets. William´s baked goods are very popular among the locals, which leads to the bakery selling out all their cakes every day.
