Owner Christian Bahr is trained as both a baker and a confectioner and was taught by the former owner of Jota Chocolate to craft first-class handmade chocolate.
Products
The chocolate workshop offers a range of products available all year round, including cream puffs, petit fours, and dessert chocolates. There are also seasonal specialties, especially around Easter and Christmas.
History
Christian Bahr took over Jota Chocolate in 1984. The factory has existed since the late 1930s, first on Theklavej in Copenhagen and in recent years at Stæremosen 49 in Gilleleje. With pride and respect for traditional craftsmanship, Christian Bahr has continued the fine recipes for handmade chocolate.
