The exhibition invites you on an atmospheric journey through Danish Christmas traditions of the 20th century. Discover what Christmas looked like when your grandparents were children and explore nine period rooms decorated with nostalgic Christmas ornaments.
As always at Tidens Samling, you are welcome to open drawers, browse through books and get up close to history. The museum is known for its immersive and hands-on exhibitions about everyday life, fashion, interior design and cultural history from 1900 to 1999, and during the festive season the authentic surroundings provide a special setting for memories of Christmas celebrations from generations past.
