The campsite is set in the heart of nature, offering the perfect combination of relaxation and activity. Guests can spend the day by the refreshing swimming pool or enjoy paddleboarding, fishing, cycling and hiking through beautiful landscapes. The site is also just a short walk from Emmedsbo Forest, where deer and red deer can often be spotted.

Lots of fun for the children

The swimming pool is one of the main attractions, along with the well-equipped playground featuring trampolines, a bouncy cushion, moon car track, climbing towers and a zipline. The campsite also has a football pitch, a beach volleyball court and a mini-golf course, popular with both children and adults. During the high season, organised activities for children take place – often around the cosy campfire area, where families can create unforgettable memories.

Ice cream and fish at Bønnerup Harbour

A short distance from the campsite lies the charming Bønnerup Harbour, where children and adults can indulge in giant ice cream cones. For dinner, fresh fish and delicious delicacies can be bought at the local fishmonger.

Some of Denmark’s greatest wildlife experiences are just a short drive away from camping in Gjerrild. Skandinavisk Dyrepark, Ree Park Safari, Randers Regnskov and Kattegatcentret in Grenaa – home to sharks, seals and a lively harbour – are all close by.
