The disappeared village of Torup

The hamlet Torup with its 16 farms, was deserted when the sand drift in the 16th, 17th and 18th century took away the foundation for life in the neighbourhood.
Excavations and the discovery of a coin from about 1320, told that the hamlet has been lived-in for quite a few centuries.
