We welcome you in the beautiful scenery of Han Herred – the land between the sea and the inlet. Højgaarden is situated only a few minutes walk from forest, dune plantation and the magnificent North Sea.

Højgaarden has since the construction in 1875 undergone some major changes. The main building was originally a girls’ school and then a grocer's shop. Højgaarden was bought by the Olsen family in 1950 and changed into a family guesthouse and a farm.

In 1990 we, as the 2nd generation, took over at "Højgaarden" and the conference centre has been further enlarged. After several rebuildings, with preservation of the cosy atmosphere at the estate, the Højgaarden appears today as a modern conference centre with a relaxing atmosphere.
