Fiskehuset Thisted - Fish Shop

Fiskehuset Thisted is your local fish supplier – with both a physical store and a nationwide webshop.

Our regular fish van is parked daily in front of Café Sydvendt, where we sell fresh fish straight from the cutters in Hanstholm.

We have two departments under one roof:

Fiskehuset, which buys and sells fish – from the fish van, the Saturday pop-up shop in the restaurant, and through our webshop, which delivers throughout Denmark.

And Café Sydvendt, where you can enjoy food freshly prepared on site.

Every morning, we purchase the freshest fish from the Hanstholm Fish Auction. Everything is prepared by hand – from filleting to cooking – in our own production facility and smokehouse.

In the fish van, you’ll find everything from boneless fillets and smoked specialties to handmade delicacies like fish cakes, Thy herring, seafood salad, and salmon rolls. Our selection follows the seasons and the day's catch, and we’re always ready to offer guidance and tastings.

The fish van is open Monday to Friday from 11 am to 4 pm. On Saturdays, you’ll find us in the restaurant with our pop-up fish counter.

You can also order online 24/7 – we deliver across Denmark in refrigerated vehicles.
