Former sea captain Jørgen Melchior takes you on a fascinating journey through the story of the British warships HMS St. George and HMS Defence, the devastating shipwrecks off Denmark's west coast, and life aboard Royal Navy vessels more than 200 years ago.
Drawing on his maritime experience, Jørgen Melchior shares unique insights into the lives of sailors and the dramatic events that made Thorsminde part of European maritime history.
The guided tour lasts approximately 45–60 minutes and explores the museum's award-winning exhibitions featuring original artefacts recovered from the famous shipwrecks.
