See the dramatic coastline from a new perspective

The Juelsminde Peninsula boasts a long and varied coastline that is well worth a visit for any nature lover. As you explore the coast, you might not immediately notice the remarkable geological richness found in the coastal cliffs of the area.

Here, you will find fascinating cliffs with layers of sediment deposited millions of years ago, and along the stone-rich beaches you can discover a wealth of beautiful stones. Every stone has its own captivating story, often stretching back millions of years. Some stones even reveal traces of prehistoric animal life in the form of fossils and burrows left behind by ancient organisms.

Geo tours in 2026

During 2026, 10 different locations on the Juelsminde Peninsula will be visited, and each site will be explored twice over the course of the year.

Participation is free of charge and no registration is required. In the image above, you can see where each tour takes place.

The Geo Tours in 2026 are planned according to tidal tables, as the best experiences are at low tide.
