On the tour, you will learn about the long history of Tranekær Castle and the Ahlefeldt-Laurvig family. An exciting story spiced with wonderful anecdotes.

The tour takes approx. 1.15 hours.

Guided tours starting at 11.00 am

Week 27-31: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday

Meet at the castle courtyard and arrive 10 minutes before the tour starts (walk up the avenue past the private signs).

Entrance fee DKK 150 per person

Book your ticket online in advance to make sure you get a seat. If there is extra space on a tour at the start time, tickets can be purchased at the door with MobilePay. Tranekær Slot I/S reserves the right to cancel on the day if there are too few registrations.

Guided tours for groups

It is possible to book a separate guided tour for groups all year round. You pay for a minimum of 25 people (max 50). Entrance fee DKK 150 per person. Enquiry at tours@tranekaerslot.dk

Car parking

Park at Slotsparken or Galaxen, where there are also toilets. Please note that there is no access to toilets at the castle. Allow approx. 10-15 min. to walk from the car parks to the castle courtyard.
