A day out on railbikes with a picnic basket?

From June until September, you can take your family out on a railbike. There are three railbikes for hire. Each railbike carries two people. You travel on the 6.5-kilometre line from Haderslev West to Hammelev and back. Please note: Railbikes are unavailable when the Veteran Train is operating on the line.

Book a railbike for 3 hours:

Family Railbike (seats 4 adults or 2 adults with 2-3 children): DKK 225

Railbike for 2 (max. 150 kg): DKK 150

We recommend that you are at least two adults on the Family Railbike. The vehicle is too heavy for one person to turn alone!

Age limit: You must be over 18 years of age to hire a railbike. Children under the age of 15 are not permitted to drive a railbike.
