Ilderhede church is located 20 kilometers from Herning. The church was built in 1906-07 in the era's mix of Romance and Gothic style.

The artist, Knud Lollesgaard made the church eastern glass mosaic piece in 1982. It shows a golden cross which is shaped as a tree of life.
