You will find Klosterheden Plantage between Struer, Lemvig and Holstebro.

Klosterheden Plantage is Denmark's 3rd largest forest area. The forest is teeming with life from the majestic reddeer, to beavers and rare plants in the forest floor.

Plantation has one of Denmark's largest populations of beautiful red deer, which can best be experienced at sunrise and sunset. In September and October, the males burst and you can hear the characteristic roar. From the top of Fladhøj you can often see the wild game on the plantation's large moorland.

Go in search of beaver tracks at Møllesø and along Flynder Å, where you can find trees that are felled by beavers and see their impressive dams in the water.
