The main building of Krabbesholm was constructed around 1550–60 and remains a well-preserved example of Renaissance architecture. Its one-meter-thick walls are made of hewn fieldstones and monk bricks, with a beautifully chamfered stone base likely sourced from churches demolished during the Reformation. While many of the original surroundings have disappeared, the knight’s hall still features wall paintings from 1759 by O.V. Wassman.

Today, the building houses Krabbesholm Folk High School, offering courses in art, photography, architecture, and graphic design.
