LangeLinie Wine – discover Danish wine in the open countryside

Just outside the town of Frederikssund, you will find LangeLinie Wine. Here, vineyards and idyllic surroundings set the scene for unique experiences. You can get close to Danish wine production, taste the estate’s wines, and enjoy a stay in modern holiday apartments right among the vines.

The vineyard is run by Helle Hjorth and Jan Hansen, who planted their first vines in 2014 on their estate, Pilegaard. Today, 2,700 vines thrive here, including the grape varieties Cabernet Cantor, Solaris, and Souvignier Gris. All vines are cared for with great attention, and all work is carried out entirely by hand to ensure the highest quality.

Guided tours and wine tastings

When visiting LangeLinie Wine, you can take part in a guided vineyard tour and learn how the wines are made. The tour ends with a tasting of four different wines, ranging from white and rosé to red, orange, and sparkling. Visits can be arranged for groups of at least six people.

Stay overnight among the vines

Dreaming of staying in the middle of a vineyard with peace, birdsong, and wide-open skies? At the vineyard, you can spend the night in brand-new holiday apartments, featuring an entrance hall, bathroom, living room with kitchen, and your own sunny terrace. There is also a breakfast terrace, free WiFi, and parking – all within easy reach of fjords, castles, and charming towns.

Holiday apartments with comfort

The apartments are located in a separate building next to the estate. They are modernly furnished with sofas, a dining area, and an American-style kitchen. Outdoors, you can enjoy your own gas barbecue on the terrace or start the day on the shared breakfast terrace.
