Nordgården Farm camping shelters

Spend the night in shelters set in the open fjord landscape at Nordgården, where farm atmosphere, tranquillity and outdoor life create the setting for a relaxing stay close to nature.

Shelters in the countryside

Nordgården Farm Camping shelters are located at an active farm on an open field and offer two shelters with space for 3 and 5 people respectively. The shelter area is part of the area known as “Shelterfolden”, which is also used for farm camping with space for 1–3 units or families at a time.

There is plenty of space around you, views of the surrounding landscape and an atmosphere that invites calm, presence and outdoor stays.

Hiking routes, cycling and fjord life

The location of the shelter site makes it particularly attractive for both hikers and cyclists. The Pontoppidan Route passes just 200 metres from the site near Skuldelev, providing easy access to cycling through the varied fjord landscape. At the same time, the Fjord Trail runs close by, with the shelters located along the Frederikssund–Skibby section, making it ideal for both walkers and cyclists. There are 2.5 km to Skuldelev Beach and 3 km to Skuldelev Harbour, which offers a bathing jetty, guest berths for sailors and is part of the Free Harbour scheme.

Practical information

Nordgården Farm Camping shelters are suitable both for those arriving on foot or by bicycle and for guests who combine outdoor experiences with travel by car. The shelter site is peacefully situated in the open landscape close to Skuldelev, with easy access from nearby roads and routes.

Stays must be booked in advance, and overnight accommodation takes place in calm surroundings with good distance between units, allowing you to enjoy the tranquillity, nature and the special atmosphere that characterises a stay in the countryside.
