SAK Kunstbygningen

In addition to a series of established exhibitions, SAK also has a permanent extensive collection of works by the world-renowned sculptor Kai Nielsen, a significant collection of South Funen visual art, an art library, and a lithographic print workshop for graphics.

SAK Kunstbygning originates from and is operated by SAK, the Svendborg County Art Association. The association was founded in 1941 by local artists and craftsmen, and since its inception, exhibitions have been held around the city at hotels, in the Svendborg Citizens' Association, and even in the old covered swimming pool at Krøjers Have.
