Sakskøbing Fjord

Sakskøbing Fjord is both calm and beautifully varied waters to paddle in. It is 2.2 nautical miles or four kilometres along the narrow, marked channel from Sakskøbing Harbour to the jetty at Oreby Castle and Oreby Mill.

Here is lovely nature with meadows, forest and fields around the well-maintained houses. The bird life is rich. The Danish Ornithological Society has registered 70 bird species in the "DOF database".
