Shelter in Østerskoven

The site is located in Silkeborg Østerskov, on the Aarhus-Silkeborg hiking trail below Karoline Amalies Høj.

The site has a campfire area and an outdoor toilet. Firewood can be gathered from the forest floor. There is no drinking water at the site, but during the season it can be obtained at the forest ranger stations Myrhus (at the northern end of Østerskoven) or Borresøhus (at the southern end of Østerskoven near Paradisvejen).
