As darkness falls over Ribe, one of the guides from Ribe Guiderne takes you on a public HALLOWEEN evening tour through the town's streets and lanes. Hear about a time when power, faith and human destinies shaped life in Denmark's oldest town.
Along the way, the guide tells you about kings and merchants, clergy and ordinary townspeople whose lives took dramatic and often tragic turns. The stories recount betrayal, murder, deceit, poisoning, loss and misfortune in Ribe. These true stories are told in the very places where they unfolded.
Practical information
The tour takes place on Friday, October 30, 2026, from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. and is conducted in Danish.
