Skyttehuset Outdoor Camp in the Lake District Søhøjlandet

With a location on the banks of the Gudenå River, Skyttehusets Outdoor Camp gives you the opportunity to relax completely in quiet surroundings. There is also plenty of opportunities for activities, such as swimming in one of Denmark's cleanest lakes, Slåensø, which is a 15-minute walk from the campsite. You can also fish or hop aboard one of the ferries, whose jetty is 100 meters from the camp site. There's nothing better than spending a morning with a refreshing boat trip to Himmelbjerget or Silkeborg town.

In 2020, Skyttehusets Outdoor Camp won "Best Danish Camp Site" in the outdoor category.

Rental and activities on site

At Skyttehusets Outdoor Camp you can rent canoes, rowing and motor boats for activities on the water. If your feet need to stay dry, you can enjoy delicacies in the camp site café with panoramic views while the children and childish souls enjoy themselves in the playground. At the café you can also get breakfast, local snacks or freshly baked breakfast rolls. 

If you do not want to bring your own tent or caravan, you can rent cabins or rooms.
